Sorry if this is going to look stupid on me, but I haven't found it anywhere.

I am looking to start up a vB hacks site of my own, and am looking as well to buy out a couple of small projects to work on. I am looking for the Showthread template that vB.org has here, the one that you can check installations, download the file on the right, etc. I hope this makes sense by the way :)

Well, if anyone understands me and finds it, I will be very grateful. I just haven't been able to find it in the relevant forums.

... if you want to start a new hacks site, you will need first to have sources, not to ask someone else to provide it...

usually, we start by becoming good coders...

and the template you're searching for will never be provided as a hack...

I would like to think I am one, thank you. I would have liked to have had it, that's all.

for the display for the hacks distribution, there is some Files/Downloads hacks, but they don't look like what you are interested in...

for the other part, i would myself have the great idea to start a new vb.org with a different structure and a different way to work, so people are having an alternative, but it's not good actually... some guys tryed that in the past, with no good result, because Jelsoft will not support you in any way, and most of it, you would infringe the license of Jelsoft...

Fair enough. Plus all the people interested in customising vBulletin are here. I will still keep it in mind though, and have a go if possible. Thanks for the input anyway.

Please note, you are not allowed to post the mods you find here on your site without permission from the modification authors. Your site will have to start with the mods you write yourself and the mods that you can recruit other authors to share.

I know. I was hoping to make it a predominately Style-orientated site, but with hacks I owned too. I understand that entirely.

there was vbulletin-templates.com that was focussing on templates codes and styles... it is now merged here, because there was too much differences in the administration and uses... now a vBulletin client find all the things needed in a single place, and the system is uniform...

you have to remember too that vBulletin is not a OpenSource project... it is owned and managed entirely by Jelsoft...
