NEEDED: Mass User Import

I have a newsletter list of about 27,000 subscribers. I would like to start using Commbull Community Bulletin (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=97809) to send my newsletters. I only have about 9000 users on my board. I'd like all 27K of my subscribers to be forum users.

So here is what I need -- a script that will:

Import a list of user's NAME|EMAIL (either by upload or by taking the info from the same database)

If the user's email is already in the database, skip it

Create a new user with name, email, password and "Imported" into field X

If there is no user name, make user "Member userid"

Automatically activate the user

Email login information to the user

REPEAT UNTIL DONE

If you're willing to pay for your request, then it belongs in the Service Request forum and not here. But since it involves Impex which you won't have to pay since you have a vB license, I won't bother moving it.

Impex wasn't the answer. I paid someone to write the hack and (with a few bumps) managed to do it. :)

If i remember correctly, Impex doesn't import the passwords
They all need to be reset.
