From my understanding, it is what calls up the announcement display code, correct?

Looking in forumdisplay all it is doing is calling up this string. However, I place it in forumhome and it doesnt do anything.

I coped forumdisplay_announcement to forumhome_announcement in a vain attemp to get it to function, but it does not.

Is there something I am missing ? thankss.
