ModCP Access Mask 1.00

Having needed to create a plugin for our board that allowed our mods to change access masks for their users, was a necessity.

However, checking out this site, we couldn't find anything that was dealing with the modCP panel. After doing all the research I could, I found out why. It's damn hard to code for.

Anyway, for all you administrators who want your moderators to be able to update access masks per user, this plugin allows them to do it, through the 'Search User' then 'View Profile' sections of their control panel.

This only loads the forums that the moderator is a moderator of, as well as the user settings for the user your looking at and allows you to edit them.

Enjoy.

P.S. This is just one plugin, and it won't show up in the admin panel as well. (a pain, since they share the same hook)

so this can be used like a moderator banning a member from theyre own section right? will it allow them to view it? read ?

Ecron, glad I could help. I know how good it feels when I find a hack I've always needed.

lowandloudinc, it works on the exact same principle if an admin changes a users access mask for a forum. You can use it to give people access to private forums, so they can see them and post, or you can use it to take it away from people so that they can no longer see the forum, or post.

Correct, its only for access masks.
