I voted no because Im a evil money grabbing old git capitalist that doesnt want competition im my quest for ultimate world domination :)
All kidding aside, I am sure there would be a strong demand for an FOC article system on .org if you can provide one. Cinq is also working on a porting vbarticles to vb3.5, have you thought about contacting and working with him to help get it done? A complex article system can be a lot of work to do by yourself... I should know :P
IMO freedom of choice (regardless of FOC or commercial) only enriches all end products and thus choices for all users.
Good luck!

I'd like this hack. I'd rather not pay for something if I don't have to.

Yeah this hack would be free.. But it may take me a month (give or take) to get it done.. So, support our devolpers and go buy GARS if your in need of a Plugin/Extension like this.

I did also buy Gars but for me its gone overboard i prefered gas the original
because it showed the forum display as being part of the forum with just a few tweaks to let people know it was the article section. But now its gone way beyond what i needed it for.
Either way i'd prefer a seperate article system to one built into the forums

Sorry to hear that - you can easily get the exact same affect as the original GAS. Drop me a line and ill help sort it for you.

I would actually like this however upgrades might become a pain later on since the main codebase is going the new direction with templates.
Unless of course there is a "Lite" version release for people like me :P
