We'll ... a while back I was looking around for pagan related events around the nyc area and surprisingly I had a hard time finding a single solid source for it all. The few I know of aren't updated regularly and/or the site itself is very difficult to navigate around. So... I thought to myself that it would be fun to make my own site as a resource center for pagans and wiccans in the nyc area.
With the exception of a few odds and ends, I think I have most of the ?infrastructure? in place. I was hoping to get some feedback and opinions from everyone about the overall usability and features and some suggestions on things I should consider adding.
What I have already:
* Forums w/ RSS feeds of topics
* Revised the vb menu drop downs
* Gallery for artwork and photos
* Calendar of Events
* List of Local and Online resources (shops, groups, etc)
* Portal page with latest forum topics, resources and (soon) gallery images
Short list of stuff I know I need to do:
* Create a better logo
* Double check for broken links and images
* Add a more robust article management system
* Find people interesting in sharing posts and art into the gallery
* Create some unique content
* Finishing moving some the local stores links around.
For future consideration:
* Journals
* Classifieds / Auctions section
So any last things before I move onto stage 2?
