Why not write down a moderator's comment and THEN close the thread. Instead of leaving it so open like that. Now I know why I only have 60 some-odd posts here...

Anyways, here's my last word. Feel free to close this one too.

I have two acres of leaves I will pay to have removed....Hey, if you don't like my idea, then leave it. Why come back with the mockery?

There's only so much money you can make mowing people's lawns. I don't mow lawns; I have a kidney problem and cannot perform any form of heavy exercise.

I do, however, do web design. It pays for most of my essentials. Food. Rent. Internet. Clothes. I don't see what's so wrong with me opening up another website and posting IN A SINGLE THREAD ON THIS WEBSITE to let some people know about it and asking for an honest opinion on what they think of the idea.

This is vbulletin.org and not spamhereplease.org and I actually do have some leaves and would be more then happy to pay someone as I am lazy.

the point with opening a thread to announce your deal is not really a problem... the problem is WHERE you post it... this is a support forum for clients buying a software... not a freelancer website...

and btw, guys that have 60 posts here may not be spammers but clients with not that much questions to ask because they are answered already... this is not mainly a place to make friends and chit-chat, but a place to support a software...

if you are a real web-guy, you already know that, so why ask...

and by opening a thread to complain you just make things worst...

The Lounge
Sit back in your lazy-boy recliner and chat away. This forum intends to host any kind of chat except vbulletin and hacking issues!

I might be wrong, my english is a little rusty, but I do not think I read anywhere in that forum description, "Link Dump".

I'm sorry, but that thread was blatent spam. One look at it and I knew it was. Hardly any of that post concentrated around "what they thought of the idea" at all. If it did, it might have been a different story, but I didn't get that impression at all reading it.

If we let you post a link to your site, we'd probably have the other 100,000 members posting a link to their site to. So much for the lounge, aye?

Anyway I'm closing this, nothing else really needs to be discussed. If you still have queries DirectPixel, PM me or any of the other mods/admins.

By the way. I closed it because it was spam. Such obvious spamming is not worthy of a comment.
