Notes
This is a convert of this admincp style:Link (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=103461)
The zip includes PSD's for the header and statusicons.
You free to use this on your forums and the rest of your site as long as you retain the copyright notice at the bottom :)

Installation

Unzip ?fromBasics_Dark? and upload the files in the upload folder to the correct places.
Log into your Admin control panel.
In 'Styles & Templates' Go to 'Styles & Templates' and Import Style XML File.


Enjoy!

Hi SMO,
If you can change the width in the 'header' template:

tonight would be killer bro i really appreciate that. i'm getting helllllla feedback from users complaining and i've gone through hundreds of lines of code today trying to fix it to no avail.

p.s. how come changing "Main Table Width (pixels or percentage)" in Style Manager to 100% doesn't fix it?

Go to your admin panel>>Style Manager>>GO to Dark Style (Or whatever you named it)>>Scroll down to Image Paths and make sure they all go to the correct Ftp Folders. Edit the links and click save and you SHOULD see no more x's or at least less of them.

This was 1 of my main problems when I installed skins and through luck and whatever else I finally figured it out. :squareeyed:

and i still dont understand why changing $stylevar[outertablewidth] to 100% by changing Main Table Width in Style Manager doesn't do the trick.

If you look at a post you can see how the avatar and name are on the left side like they're supposed to be, but the join data, location, and post count are on the right side instead of underneath.

I'm also having a problem getting the rankings to display properly, they are uploaded and I can see the images fine in the admin panel but in the forums they just don't display.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Sadly this nice theme is using a fixed width layout, you could change the code and see what happens. Specifically <table align="center" border="0" width="750" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="border"> Just replace the 750 with 90% or whatever you want.
Actually I just tried it myself, and nothing seems to have broken, so there you go.

Did some colour changes from blue to orange to fit my site, and also changed the wysigwys area quite a bit, but there is one thing i can't change from what i can see. I think the white border around the board is a bit bright. How do I change it?

The way I did it was as follows<div class="cheader"><div class="header"><a href="index.php" style="display:block;height:100%;width:100%;text-indent:-1000px;">Ego Owners Group</a></div></div>That way the link text isn't hidden since it's drawn far outside the visible window and the entire header image is clickable.

I love this style. i want in on my board, but it was created in 3.5.3 and i'm running 3.5.4. When i uploaded the .xml file, it gave me this error:

Keyser, In your main forum directory, upload the folder called fb_Dark, located in the file that you downloaded from this thread. fromBasics_Dark > Upload > forum > fb_dark

Your site should look like www.yoursite.com/forum/fb_dark/

How can I make the logo align to the right, I tried changing the table alignment but that didn't help. I set the with to 100% but now the logo just hops where it wants to be at any given width, and I want to restrain it to the right, where are the tags for the image?

Well if you open the XML, and under header just clear the image settings, you should be good to go.

with

Great :) seems to work fine for 3.6, just opened the XML file changed from 3.5.4 to 3.6.4 and replaced "goto=lastpost" with "goto=newpost" all you have to do :)

Also, I seem to be missing the "buttons/infraction.gif" image and "buttons/multiquote_off.gif"

argh! thank god you're back Nutz, I do hope you'll port this theme soon for 3.6.x. I just love how simple this theme is, and the only reason why my vbulletin is still 3.5.x is because Im afraid of loosing this theme.
