Choosing style/colors?

I want to try something different than the standard blue theme for my forum.
However, it is not a gaming forum so I don't need an elaborate(sp?) graphical forum.

Any thoughts on choosing a color scheme?

I went with soft colors that weren't too hard on the eyes. muted blues and greens are nice for that too.
