hey I installed a hack or template edit that forces people to enter their birthday as the first page during the registration process.

ie: click REGISTER >> goes to BIRTHDAY ENTRY step >> then to Agreement Disclaimer ....

I can't find the original hack..so dont' know how to REMOVE it? anyone have the link to the hack or know how I would go about removing it?

Isn't that just done by a setting in your vB Options?

yah... that's what I thought too... (where is that btw? I don't have anything for birthday under my registratoin option).

anyway, this doesn't seem to be that. :(

these are my default registration options:

Receive Admin Emails
Invisible Mode
Display Email
Receive Private Messages
Send Notification Email When a Private Message is Received
Pop up a Notification Box When a Private Message is Received
Allow vCard Download
Display Signatures
Display Avatars
Display Images
Display Reputation
Automatic Thread Subscription Mode
Message Editor Interface
Thread Display Mode

nothing about requiring birthday. :( where'd it go?? :/

It is in the User Profile Options.

It is in the User Profile Options.

thanks...but that is currently set to "no". :/

again, the require age page signup page comes up as a FIRST PAGE page after clicking "register". (not on the page where you enter your id, password, image verification etc).

something else is going on here!! HAALP!!! :( what/where would I have to edit to change the order of the registration process? maybe I can start looking there first.

ps. grrr. user profile options??!....pfft!! man, that really should in the registration options. lol. its so not obvious.

You have probably the COPPA system enabled in your registration options. This will make the day of birth show up first, since the rest of the registration process will depend on the input.
