Any plugin or hack out there for vBulletin that will intergrate with squirrelmail, horde or neomail ?

I need something when users register they also get registered for a email account. with the same password and they can access the webmail thorugh vBulletin.

hmm, This would be an interesting hack if it's possible.

One of the benefits of our platinum membership is an email account that uses the above webmail clients. If there was a way to integrate it all into the forum, that would be cool.

Only thing that i can tell you that does integrate into vBulletin is HiveMail but sadly it is no longer being developed as far as I know :(

You are not talking about something simple.

Squirrelmail is only a front end for pop3 accounts. Essentially you are talking about creating a new 'squirrelmail' within vB. This would be a huge freaking project.
If memory serves, I think Filburt has something like this though.

If you look around on the forums, you'll see he's working on it though. The 3.0 version looks great so a 3.5 version if it's as good should be worth the wait.

There is a problem with Filburts email system though. It's not a true email system. It works by using a catch all account and then sorts the emails by user name.
