I am porting my phpBB to vB. Right now I have custom images and data for (a lot of) my subforums. Example: http://www.fehler-im-film.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=17 (phpBB)

This forum is about movies and some movies have their own subforum. So I want to save some movie specific data like year, actors, editors etc. and show them on viewforums.php and whereever it makes sense (just like on my phpBB right now).

Is a mod/hack/plug-in out there that can do this job?

You could use the "Forum Description" field for this function :)

Well, yes, you're right. But this is an optinal field and therefore it could cause problems to format it correctly. Additonally it would be nice to make these field searchable.
