Hey guys, I just re-opened my anime forums called OtakuTalk. We were open during various times but had to close due to server issues during each run. Now that I am on a very nice server I would like to get people back on the forums and posting like mad! However, I need help.
Can you guys or girls or whatever, ;-), give em any suggestions on what to add to the forums, change in the forums style, or what is overall wrong with it. Creativity is hard to come by, so I gave it a shot to see what I could do with it.
Alright, feel free to bash away, anything you got I can take, I am an art animation major ;-).

You have two login boxes on the front page, you should just get rid of the bottom one. I like the look of the site, I did notice that your arcade button gives an error page.

Hey, thanks for the comments and I have changed what you asked, thanks for letting me know about the arcade. All fixed! Anyone else have any comments they want to add?

- The blue link is too dark for the black background.
- You need to set some boundaries ... the layout looks disorganized. (A border would help.)
- Your NO NEW POSTS and LOCKED FORUM icons look similar. We should be able to distinguish the 2 easily.

Really, are you sure that is not your monitor? I have tested it on multiple computers and OS's to make sure it was not too dark, still works well.

Please clarify, your comments is too broad. A border where?

That was a mistake, because none of my forums are locked, I didn't think it mattered, but that can be easily fixed, thanks for the comment.
Overall good comments, keep them coming :)

All links/text should be clearly visible -- in other words, a high contrast should exist between it and background.

All over the place. Right now it looks like a big jigsaw puzzle ... I have to find what belongs to what.

Still not giving me anything as far as organization, of the forums, the links, I mean. I don't understand what needs to be changed to feel more organized, hmm...
Sorry if I am not getting it...
