I'm showing 12 queries on forum home and 14 queries on forum display. I do have several hacks installed, so I know that could be attributing to it being a little high. I'm just wondering how many should be considered too many? Are those numbers in the red zone for being high or are they moderate?
Short of removing hacks, are there any ways to decrease the amount of queries?
Unless you've got thousands of concurrent users that query level is totally fine.

Awesome! I usually only PEAK maybe 50-60 tops. Usually it's no more than about 40.
Thank you very much for your input.
I was kicked off of two shared hosting plans with two different hosts b/c my database queries were too high, but that was when I used Invisionboard and I think I may have had too many hacks. So, I think my queries were much higher back then. I just don't wanna get booted from another host. heheh :nervous:
Ive been kicked of 3 shared providers with similar concurrent users as you. Only way for me to sustain my site now days is go dedicated (though i manage to use at least 400gb a month now days).
Depends how cheap your shared provider is to how many concurrent queries they let you do.
