Is there a hack for picture sigs?

I want to allow 1 usergroup to ability to use pictures in their signature however I want it to only be so large and so big.

Is there a hack for this or a way to do it?

Is there a hack for older version of vB?

I haven't upgraded to 3.5 yet, no reason to really right now.
