Deleting Default vB skin?

I would like to delete the default vB skin, would I do this by replacing all the files in the /images/ directory?

Do I have to do anything special with the XML?

If you have uploaded a new skin or created your own then you can just delete the default one via the style manager. However for this to work you first need to change that site default style in vb options to the new one otherwise you will get a no permission message as you cannot delete the one that is set to default in there.
