Retroactive and Sticky Sigs

I'm looking for a mod that can do two things.

One a Retroactive signature, a retroactive signature will go through all your past posts and add the signature or change your old signature to your new one.

A sticky signature will only apply to future posts and all the previous posts that don't have a signature still won't and the posts with signatures from previous will keep that previous signature and not the new one.

If anyone can make this I'd be a very happy person ;)

Isn't your "retroactive" version the default?

any post that doesn't have a sig on it when posted stays like that when a sig is added to the account. if a sig is changed it changes the sig on all existing posts where a sig is displayed and on all new posts. if you wanted to retain an old sig the you would need some sort of sig history coding and implementing in the posts. this is probably gonna be pretty major work.

sounds like a good plan. it's also what i'm trying to do coz I just wouldn't even attempt to take this on. I know what it should do and how it should work, it's just making it do it thats the problem. if you just want a pretty flow chart of it then i can make that instead though ;) :p
