Okay, here is what I want to do:

On certain forums on my site... i want to make the "create thread" button go to a LINK that I specify. BUT ONLY ON CERTAIN forums. NOT ALL of them.

is there a way to go about this. and how?

How about creating a second style that is just like your current style with the exception of that one feature, then use that second style for the forums you want to use that feature in, and the normal style for the other forums.
