Basic questions

Hey all. I have a couple questions.

When upgrading from 3.5.0 to 3.5.2, am I going to have re-install any hacks? (just a latex script right now) and will I have to reset my color scheme?

Also, with "home"pages such as this one:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/portal.php?

is it just a series of modifications, or is one mod that handles most of it?

I'm hoping to have a homepage with latest posts, news articles (posted by certain users), menu etc..

About your color schemes, the announcement at vbulltin.com should mention any template edits you should do. Color schemes (i have no vB2 experience) should not be effected.

Hacks (file edits) you will probably have to redo.

There are several portal hacks available, each with their own requirements/edits. Not sure if any available for vB2 though.

You should consider upgrading.

oops lol.. those were supposed to be 3.5.0 and 3.5.2 (edited now)
also, do i have to install or can I just apply the patch.

I suggest you do the upgrade, and not only the patch, but that choice is up to you.

If you're upgrading vB 3.5, then all Plugin type of hacks should not have to be re-installed.
