Just to set the record straight so I know for sure... the skins and hacks that are made for the three 3.5.x versions are compatible with all three versions, correct?

I want to go ahead and upgrade from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 but I just finished installing a ton of hacks and skins they are made for 3.5.1 and don't want to lose all of them.

I just want to make sure that they are all compatible with each other since I really love some of my hacks and skins that were made for 3.5.1. :ermm:

Well, I just upgraded from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 and all my skins and hacks work great so I would say yes.

Wrong.

See the Template changes in the 3.5.1 & 3.5.2 Announcements at vb.com.

The template modification might be minor, but are advised to be changed.

didn't you had to edit templates after the upgrade?

Ick. Thats what I was afraid of. When I went from Gold to 3.5.1 I had to revert everything, as well.

OK, well, I guess I better get started then!

Thank you for the info and clarification. :)

You might want to have a look at a hack released by Andreas today. It could make things a bit easier.

I actually just finished upgrading before I saw this. It wasn't a major pain. I did have to revert all of the templates, but it was only a couple like newthread, newreply, and navbar. So, not a huge deal. I'm glad I'm finally upgraded and won't be upgrading again for a while :P

All Hacks still work perfectly though! :)
