My Links Break?

when users enter hyperlinks such as:
http://forum.sitename.com/showthreadphp?p=1 *hyperlink as in the link is below a name like:

THIS IS A LINK (http://forum.sitename.com/showthreadphp?p=1)

it changes the links to:
http://showthread.php?p=1

why is that and how can i fix it?

Do you have your board URL set correct in the vBulletin Options?

If i remember correct you have my Link Anonymizer installed. If yes which version, and do you still have the same problem if you disable that Product.

yes certainly, but the problem might be that i am using sub-domains, my site is located at board.site.com, could that be it? i think i tried link anonymizer on my old board, but not on 3.5, and i dont have it installed at the moment, or atleast it's not in my products list.

Then you are probably using one of my other hacks, and i was mistaken about it.

Could you give an example to a thread where it goes wrong, and to what is your board url set in the vB Options?

this is strange it seems to work now, i just created a test thread on my board and it seems to work. i must've already uninstalled whatever plugin messed it up.

why is it so many plugins come with sideeffects?
