Also, I am looking for a module that will scan selected members' outgoing/incoming private messages for selected keywords, then send a notification to myself via pm if certain keywords are found in the pm's. The purpose it to filter out gossip / troublemakers from my site.

How exactly do you want that shoutbox to be integrated? You can just copy paste the code they give into one of your template..

To be able to modify the allowed usergroups that can use it, as currently cbox does not have a plugin for vbulletin.
