providing you are using 3.5.x then make sure that in your templates (forumdisplay mainly) it has $foruminfo[title_clean] in the <title> tags.

By default the Meta title and description remains the same on every page. I'm not sure if there is a hack out for 3.5 that allows you to change it. Try searching, if you don't find anything you can request for it in the Modification Request forum.

seems a bit retarded that it would be the same across .. but i see it is..
damn it why didnt they think of crap like that when they made it. does a regular website have the same title across every page LOL.. nope!.. whoever made vbulletin needs a good kick up the ass
has to be a easier way than hacking templates and such.. i havent a clue which template to go into.. do i go into using dreamweaver do i do it via admin? and where in admin and what do i change and what do i change too.. as you can see.. a PAIN IN THE ASS this is...

ok i found forumdisplay
Mine says
<meta name="description" content="$foruminfo[description]" />
<title>$vboptions[bbtitle]</title>
what do i change so that the forums title and tile description show up in the source and when its clicked? oh and if i change it here will this mess up my main homepage title and description i.e what you see in OPTIONS> general settings?

Replace $vboptions with $foruminfo[title_clean] between the title tags.
[b]IT ONLY WORKS ON 3.5.x
