I've been searching all over for a port of this hack to show a person's usergroups and member groups in the postbit:

Thanks!

You should be able to paste that code somewhere within class_postbit.php (perhaps even use a hook, I have no files on this computer) and call it the same way as that hack suggests :)

Tried it but didn't work :disappointed:
It didn't spit out any errors, but the groups don't show up. Tried tweaking it myself, but I just dunno the new code structure very well.

I could be wrong, but I think what we are looking for is a conditional statement that produces either primary and/or secondary usergroups of the posting user.
Here's my situation. I have a subscriber based group. I would like to add to the postbit something like 'Subscriber, bow down!', but obviously only if the user belongs to the subscriber group, which is a secondary group.
I'm pretty much stumped until I can find some kind of list of variables are available on which bits.
If anyone has this conditional handy, we sure would appreciate it!
Thanks in advance,
Max

Don't know what you mean by that. You cat set up one's primary or secondary usergroup (based on various things).
But how would you like "a conditional statement that produces" that?
Could you explain that?

We use the usergroup settings to create rank icons, for example here:

(look at posts 3 and 4 in that thread).

Yes, that is exactly what I was/am looking for!
Would you be so kind as to show me that conditional statement use in postbit?
Thanks soooo much!
