is there a hack that will make the admin, super mod, mod, etc usernames a diff color on the who's online, who's browsing etc, a different color, or bold/italic?

No hack needed, just use the HTML markup in the usergroup settings.

eg like this, in first box,<font color="blue"><b> box beside that </font>

note blue is only example you can put any color you want

as stated got to usergroup in admin cp select usergrpoup and use the code i gave in the HTML markup in my earlier post
