hyperlink question

on my forum - we are registered in a leaderboasrd type of thing where each user has to vote for our site by clickin on the link daily

no is there any way i can make it so when people log in - it opens a new window n clicks the link for them? as it'd make the lazier users actually vote for our site

heres what i got, why wont this open a new window with the said link in it? would it help if i put the link in a separate htm file and ran the htm file?
