Shut down VB for 30 minutes each day?

I have a script on my server (via cron) that backs up all of my databases and files once a day and it takes about 20 minutes to run.

Does anyone have a VB cron that can close down the forum and another one that can open it back up?

One for closing your board, another for opening it back up (file name should be indicative of which to use for what).

Set up scheduled tasks accordingly.
