Does anyone know of a plug-in for vB 3.51+ that will allow an admin to designate a post as "sticky" within its thread? (That is, the sticky post will always be displayed first regardless of how the thread display order is set? It's the same idea as a "sticky thread" except is applies to a post, instead.)
Having this ability would be absolutely marvelous for specifying topic, rules, procedures, requests or providing additional pertinent information or text, etc. at the individual thread level.
Thanks

Is this even technically feasible???

I've never heard of this idea before.
Wouldn't editing an admin comment into the first post be good enough for most uses?
I'm interested in why you'd want to do this...

Yes, this is technically feasible.
However, I don't see the point in doing this because you should usually have all the important data in the first post.

I am welcoming this idea, since I would find it usefull for sticky first post.
Having first post sticky will give everybody reminder that they should stick to the main point/question made in first post .... than you have less work for moderator .-)
Big example in use is each hack's first post (althoug actually it is not post ) here at Vbulletin.org .-)
