Avatars just disappeared???

Hello,

I installed the Avatar hack on my vbb (1.1.4) and it worked fine.
A few weeks after that I installed the Poll hack and that also works fine.
The only problem is that the Avatars are gone!

When I go to the members page on my board they still show up in front of the members, but they don't show up in posts.

I think I got this problem since I installed the Pollhack 5 days ago.

Most likely one of the queries you changed in showthread.php wiped out the previous changes you had made for the avatar hack. You will need to compare install instructions for both hacks with your copy of showthread.php to find out where the conflict is.

I think I got the error.

There is one little thing wrong in the original install readme of the Avatar hack(when you install it on 1.1.4). It says the following should be changed:

$userinfo=$DB_site->query_first("SELECT userid,email,username,usertitle,signature,showemai l,homepage,icq,aim,yahoo,joindate,posts FROM user WHERE userid=$userid");

In the showthread.php file. But it can't be found in this file. You had to change something in an other php file. But I forgot in which file, and since the Avatar post is deleted it pretty hard to find out.

I think this is causing the Avatars not showing up in posts. :(

Anyone know which file had to be changed instead of the showthread file for the 1.1.4 version?

The only way to get the avatars to show up at all is to change showthread.php. If you edited another file then it won't show up.

Since the Author has pulled the hack and it is in vBulletin 2.0 by default, I suggest you upgrade if the feature is that critical to you.

Already found the problem, and the Avatars work again :D
