Restrict/Permit system

I'm looking for a restrict/permit system based on averages instead of actual posts or visits. Maybe it's a cruel way of getting members to participate, but I prefer activitiy then number of lurking members. Is something like this available?

Hmmm, a few ways I suppose...

First of all set up a bunch of usergroups with different levels of access.

The massmove function in the admin cp can filter people by posts and activity and you can move them to the appropriate usergroups.

Set promotions in your lower usergroups so that when people start posting more they get automatically moved into higher usergroups.

Thanks for trying. The problem is that they can simply post a few just to get into the usergroup and then never post again. Is there a way to have a private forum that will detect active/frequent members and automatically add/delete access rights?
