how do i let my users stay logged in?

i just installed vbulletin 3.5.1 and ive notcied something odd. i can login just fine, but when i close my browser window, it seems i am automatically logged out. that is, i have to enter my username and password everytime i open my forum.

i know that there is a way to keep you logged into a forum after youve closed a window, because it works on all the other forums i visit. how can i set it to work on mine? i looked through the cookies section and saw nothing. :(

There's a tick box by the login thingy marked 'remember me?'

You have to tick it before you log in.
